Infographic


With a history dating back close to a thousand years, the United Kingdom has had more than its share of larger-than-life figures. In fields as diverse as politics, entertainment, science, and sports, these individuals made big—and lasting—impacts on the country and around the world. For this assignment, you will create an infographic illustrating a notable figure (or figures) from the United Kingdom. In constructing your infographic, consider not only the cultural impact of the person, but also how he or she helped shape their country. While you may include relevant biographical information, your infographic’s primary focus should be on this person’s most impactful achievements.

Guidelines:

  • Use the subheading to state your thesis—in other words, why was this person so impactful in British history
  • You are responsible for sourcing no less than four outside sources to support your thesis—to be listed in your works cited
  • Space will be limited, so be thoughtful about which aspects of this person's achievements to include 
  • Be sure your design aesthetic that complements your subject
  • Infographics may be created using any program you prefer, including PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, and Adobe Express. Additionally, you may utilize AI in the creation of your design of your infographic—however, the intellectual content of must be entirely yours
  • Do not include your name on your infographic—that should go on your works cited page
